Mia was born the second child of two on the planet Knowhere. Desperate for money and a chance to live, her parents sold her and her older brother, Hayden, to the Grandmaster who lived on Sakaar. Hayden was forced to fight in the Grandmaster’s tournaments where he died after two weeks. Now alone, Mia learned medicine and worked for the Grandmaster as a healer (nurse). One fateful day, she met Jormungandr, the serpentine son of Loki, after Jormungandr battled his older brother (Sleipnir). Together, Mia and Jormungandr created an anti-venom for Sleipnir who was accidentally bitten by Jormungandr’s venomous bite. Mia helped take care of Sleipnir and sacrificed herself so that the brothers could escape Sakaar. Now in Valhalla, Mia was reunited with Hayden and met Jormungandr, where they officially started dating.

 

Quiet and caring, Mia has a knack for medicine. While living on Sakaar, she gained enough skills to sneak around the Grandmaster’s palace and learned how to survive on her own by bending the rules of the Grandmaster’s game. Despite living a life of terror on Sakaar, Mia still sees the good in people and gains enough information about someone before judging them. Selfless and heroic, Mia sacrificed herself for the greater good while ultimately obtaining her goal in life - to be reunited with her brother and to live carefree.

 

Mia is a self-taught healer, even talented enough to be offered a healing position in Valhalla’s palace. She also has the skills to sneak around unnoticed, mostly by blending in and acting naturally within her environment. She is patient, which allows her to play the long game and helps her when she needs the knowledge of the Grandmaster’s layout to help Jormungandr and Sleipnir escape. She is also a self-taught thief, who can hide in plain sight, mostly because she is so unassuming and quiet.
