Mia was born the second child of two on the planet Knowhere. Desperate for money and a chance to live, her parents sold her and her older brother, Hayden, to the Grandmaster, who lived on Sakaar. Hayden was forced to fight in the Grandmaster’s tournaments, where he died after two weeks. Alone, Mia learned medicine and worked for the Grandmaster as a healer. One fateful day, she met Jormungandr, the serpentine son of Loki, after Jormungandr and his older brother, Sleipnir, battled the Grandmaster’s champion. Together, Mia and Jormungandr created an anti-venom for Sleipnir, who was accidentally bitten by Jormungandr’s venomous bite. Mia helped take care of Sleipnir and sacrificed herself so the brothers could escape Sakaar. Now in the Afterlife, Mia reunited with Hayden and met Jormungandr; they officially started dating.

 

Quiet and caring, Mia has a knack for medicine. While living on Sakaar, she gained enough skills to sneak around the Grandmaster’s palace and learned how to survive by bending the rules of the Grandmaster’s game. Despite living a life of terror on Sakaar, Mia still sees the good in people but prefers to learn as much information as possible before trusting someone. Selfless and heroic, Mia sacrificed herself for the greater good while ultimately obtaining her goal in life: to be reunited with her brother and to live carefree.
